Active reading

Active reading means that we read with a purpose. In other words, we want to understand and remember in an effective way. Being aware of how active reading works, one will increase the ability to understand, feel a sense of achievement and increase commitment.

Passive reading is like trying to become a good football player by watching football on tv. In contrary, active reading can be compared to actually participating playing football, in order to become a better football player. What do you think works best?
